Terms and Conditions – Valin’s Heating & Air Conditioning
Welcome to Valin’s Heating & Air Conditioning, LLC (“Valin’s Heating & Air Conditioning,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern all services provided by Valin’s Heating & Air Conditioning, including installation, maintenance, repair, and emergency HVAC services, within Northern Virginia.
By scheduling a service, purchasing equipment, or using our website, you agree to these Terms.

We provide professional heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) services, including:
- Installation of new HVAC systems and equipment
- Maintenance and seasonal tune-ups

Estimates and Pricing
All quotes and estimates provided by Valin’s Heating & Air Conditioning are valid for 30 days unless otherwise specified. Final pricing may vary based on equipment availability, site conditions, or customer-approved changes to the original scope of work.
Deposits and Payments
- Deposits: Deposits are required only for special orders or custom equipment. All deposits for special orders are non-refundable once the order is placed with the distributor.
- Refunds: Refunds for equipment or materials are only available if Valin’s Heating & Air Conditioning receives a refund or credit from the distributor.
- Payment Terms: Payment is due upon completion of work unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Financing: Financing options are expected to be available beginning July 2026.
Warranties
We offer a 1-year warranty on labor and parts installed or repaired by Valin’s Heating & Air Conditioning. This warranty covers defects in workmanship and materials but does not apply to:
- Equipment not installed by Valin’s Heating & Air Conditioning
- Damage due to misuse, neglect, lack of maintenance, or acts of nature
- Normal wear and tear
Manufacturer warranties may apply separately and are subject to the manufacturer’s terms.
Cancellations and Rescheduling
There are no cancellation fees for standard service appointments. We kindly ask that customers provide at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule a scheduled service visit.
Limitation of Liability
Valin’s Heating & Air Conditioning is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from service delays, system failures, or equipment issues beyond our control. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount paid by the customer for the specific service or installation in question.
Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
- Provide safe, unobstructed access to service areas.
- Ensure electrical and mechanical systems meet local codes prior to installation.
- Obtain any required property owner or homeowner association approvals before service.
- Secure all pets prior to the technician’s arrival. For the safety of our team and your animals, pets must be confined to a separate area during service. If pets are not properly secured or the technician determines that conditions are unsafe, service may be denied or rescheduled at our discretion.
- Ensure that the working environment is free of hazards that could endanger the technician or damage equipment.
Privacy and Communications
We respect your privacy. By using our services, you consent to our collection of limited personal information (such as name, address, phone, and email) for the purposes of scheduling, invoicing, and customer communication. We may contact you via email or text message for:
- Appointment confirmations or reminders
- Completion notifications when the job is finished
- “On our way” notifications when a technician is en route
- Service updates, maintenance reminders, or promotions
- Warranty, maintenance or follow-up information
We will never sell or share your personal information with third parties except as required by law.
Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Commonwealth of Virginia. Any disputes arising under these Terms will be resolved in the appropriate courts of Virginia..
Changes to These Terms
Valin’s Heating & Air Conditioning may update these Terms at any time. The revised Terms will be posted on our website and effective immediately upon posting.
